I went to the Garden after a thunderstorm and was fortunate enough to see this sight-- this waterlily covered in raindrops! I love how the inside looks like it's glowing!
This photo is available for sale as a print, throw pillow cover, and tote bag in my etsy shop!
This is a shot from my short lived 365 project this year. I tried. I really did. I actually have been taking photos of the sky nearly everyday, but I haven't had a chance to post them. I am now over a month behind in posting those. I think the real reason that I've not done so is that while it sounded like a good idea at the time, I wasn't terribly excited about the theme/project and really only wanted to do a 365 because "all the cool kids are doing it." In retrospect, I think I should have found a theme or project that I was passionate about. (I still haven't found one yet...)
Have a great weekend!
I think the most fun part of living in a new city (honestly, it feels like a new country to me!) is that you get to explore and check out all sorts of new and interesting places. We quickly found a much better alternative to DD-- a mom & pop donut shop called Roll'n Donuts. They have incredibly delicious donuts and exceptional service (now that's something you don't get at DD!) Oh, and their coffee rocks too!!!
Photo Friday- Tall
Hello! Happy Friday! Things are rolling along over here. I finally feel like I'm rejoining the land of the living after being sick for a week. Man, I don't wish that bug on the my worst enemy! (now I have a weeks worth of stuff to catch up on!) This weekend is gonna be BUSY! (OMG! I'm going dress shopping on Sunday!) Hurry up weekend and get here! I got things to DO!
Hope your weekend is fabulous!
Boy, I would love to see some green! We're in the middle of winter-- no green things for about 2 more months. I can't complain too much-- it's been a tremendously mild winter, and for that, I'm thankful. Thank you el Nino or la Nina. Let's keep this up until March, k?
Be sure to stop by Photo Friday and check out the rest of this weeks participants!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends. Me? I plan to lay low this weekend. I am scheduled to do a newborn photoshoot on sunday, but unless I'm feeling 99% better, I may have to cancel. I don't want to get a little newborn sick (that's kinda bad for business, right?). In the meantime, I'm gonna rest up, drink copious amounts of tea, and sleep as much as I can.
